Chairman Baik established the Village, in Xingyuanzhen, Heilongjiang in China on August 24, 1993. This is the place, where he was born but built it in remembrance of his grandfather and parents who actively took part in independence movement for the home land and public welfare service, and to improve education and welfare service for Korean-Chineses. Church was built on the birthplace of S. H. Baik, and Ilsun Middle School and the Home for the aged were built in front of the tomb of his father.
